These are the three goblets I turned that met the C&T criteria. Two are walnut and one is white ash. Fairly obvious why I picked the one I did for the trade.
Dang Bob, I would have had a hard time giving that one up. All very nice and definitely looks like you have captive rings down. Did you use a specialty tool or the basic homemade ones? Those rings along with those a few others have posted look pretty near perfect.
Chris, I had this completed before you guys showed your captive ring tools. I have a skew that I made from a piece of 1/4" key stock that I have always used for captive rings, but I think I will have to try one of those allen key tools. They look like they would be much more maneuverable (sp?).
