more spatulas

More spatulas, made from alder. 12" x 3.5" with walnut oil. I think these are thin enough on the business end to flip a fried egg. Handles are burned with a couple sizes of wire.

Back home we'd call these butter paddles--for gettin' butter outa the churn. How'd ya do the "business" end? I use a dremel tool w/flex shaft & sanding drums for spoons.

I turned them on edge and cut the basic shape with bandsaw. Then refined it some with a belt sander.
