The "Toilet Plunger Cozy"

I turned this setup for a contest at another turning site. It's a "Toilet Plunger Cozy". Made from Black Walnut (base), English Walnut (cover), and Black Walnut for the handle with a piece of 1" copper pipe for a sleeve. 8" in diameter, 20" tall. Finished in Deft lacquer and waxed with Briwax. Combines platter turning, bowl turning, and spindle work.

That is a neat hiding place for the plunger, and a well-done handle too. I like that silky finish.
