A little spindle turning

This was my first attempt at any type of "production" work. My wife wanted legs for our nightstand to raise it up to go with our new bed.
They are laminated red oak scraps, 5 inches high. My wife then stained them and the nightstand (which was natural red oak as well).

That's a great idea Ned. I just might replace some of my bricks, 2x4 blocks, etc. that I have things sitting on. They really look good on the nightstand too.
