Osage Orange Hollow Form

This is some of the brightest Osage Orange I have seen. It almost hurts your eyes to look at it. The pictures don't give the corect color. Its a very hard wood but finishes nice and smooth and easy to sand.
It measures 6 1/2" tall and 4 3/4" wide, with an Ebony collar. Finish is Gel Poly and buffed on the beall.

That's a beauty Jim. I like the photo angle with the wood grain following the curve of the vase.

looks very good to me was it done green and set till dry or turned dry from a fence post?

Wheels4 it was roughed turned green from a log, dried with the DNA method and finished turned and the collar added last
