Oil lamp

I had never done an oil lamp, and had two rings left from my last box, so glued them together and there you go Smile

Purple heart and maple, finished with friction polish.

I like your oil lamp, and its color scheme. Now all you need to do is glue (?) one of them in the center of the "bowl with a hole in its bottom", and abracadabra, an oil lamp bowl.

I kind of like Gil's idea. Turn the opening in the bottom of that bowl you went through to the right size and glue this lamp into the bowl. Nice piece. 8)
