Another one that has been drying about a year. 8 X 3. It had a long strait side, don't know why I decided to add a curve. Pretty wood though.
Not finished, still on tenon. Has one coat of oil, once I get another couple of coats I will turn the bottom. Don't usually finish it this way, just turn it all then wipe on oil, but thought I would try something new.
Now that is something I can work on. Small lidded bowl in the middle with the extra room on the outside. Good idea. I have already parted out a 5 or so inch hole in the bottom to glue another peice into, now I will just turn a lidded bowl wit a proper sized tenon, glue in the tenon, turn off the excess and there. Only real trick will be making the join look right. A very steep curve I guess.
