flying saucer

This is an oldy but a goody. It's a tiger myrtle hollow form made of 2 pieces. I think it's 14" x 4.5".

Amazing grain. What do you mean made of two pieces? A bottom and a top? Either way it's a very nice piece.

Yup, sure is beautiful wood, fine finish, and the shape is ready to fly! I am with George, how do you make it in two pieces? A collar would be good too, but that is just my opinion.

Turn the bottom, turn the top, glue'um together, remount, cut the hole, sand and finish
