Small Cherry burl hollow form

As I was turning this piece, I kept asking myself the question "is this ugly, or is this art"? It looks like something took a bite out of it. A friend of mine came over a few days after I completed it and offerd to buy it. I told him "you just bought yourself some art". Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
