I am new to this group and have been turning only about a year. As you will be able to tell, I have been photographing my work for even less time. This is one of my first hollow forms. It is 8" X 9" and about 3/16" consistant wall thckness. I am self taught except for what I gather at my local woodturning association (Tennessee association of woodturners). I will appreciate any feedback (good or bad). I have placed a few pics of other pieces in my gallery.
j, you've posted quite a few fine looking pieces. Are you registered over on the message board? We're always interested in hearing about other turners procedures and maybe you could share some of the texturing techniques.
