I haven’t turned the lathe on for over 6 months so a bit rusty.
This is a follow on from an earlier piece titled “Upright”
A lidded hollow vessel in NZ Rimu, the two side sections are carved and fixed to a black corian leg.
The vessel is again fixed to the leg via a couple of rose head copper nails cut down.
Thought I would add a lid & finial to give a bit more lift & a point of difference.
O/all height is about 220mm, or a bit under 9”.
Any comments or thoughts are welcomed
