Rimu burnout

A piece of very old heart Rimu, hollowed out pretty thin, some crack, filled them with CA, it turned black, so, out with the pyro gear & have a burnout.
Size is about 5" x 6" high
Any comments welcome

Good looking wood. Looks like it had some nice grain to go along with that beautiful color. Your curve looks to be spot on. Finish on the un-burned portion looks great. Loving the contrast of the smooth finish and the rougher burned section. Fantastic piece. 8)
