I really like this piece. 2 suggestions for you for the next one. First, make the curve going up to the mouth a bit more gradual. That sharp of a corner is a bit abrupt. Second, regardless of how thin the rest of the form is, if you make the mouth thinner it will at least have the illusion of being lighter than what it is. Looks like you did a great job with sanding and finishing. And buckeye burl is one of the many "favorites" that I have. Well done. 8)
