this is a bowl I made for our club. we had to use a walnut. 7x7x2. 6" tall with finial.walnut finished with wop.

I like this... but then again I don't, to me the nuts on the box take away from your form and the beauty of the wood. I do like the nut in the finial though, I guess in its on right it is a cool looking piece.

thanks for the comments. I added the walnuts on top because it was a walnut challenge for our turners club. Hey I won a 3/8" kyro spindle gouge so I can't complain.
