Very busy Box Elder burl, About 14 inches high. The base is ebony but, alas, the finial is ebonized Cherry. Critiques are always well received and appreciated, thanks!

Outstanding Vinny. Love the little BE egg you incorporated into the finial. The flow of the form top to bottom is right on the mark. Did you think about trying another 2" in height for the bottom pedestal? I know that is a hard point to get just perfect but I do love it as is!

Thanks Bill. The foot is not glued yet because I`m not sure the transition from the body to the foot is right. To me it`s kind of big to be much higher off the table?...seems the base would have to be more broad for stability? It`s nice to be able to discuss these points! Thank you!
