Wow, nice collection of segmented bowls. This one is my favorite of the three. The padauk looks great on top of the walnut. Well done.

Thanks for your kind words. Walnut is my favorite wood for segmenting. It has so much character in the grain and color. I use Deft Clear Wood Finish for the first coat and there after use a tung oil finish. If you use an oil first it will darken the wood too much and you can't see the orange, purple and the quilting, which will happens sometimes. GT
