Box Elder Box

This is a box elder box I recently finished. It stands about ten inches tall, total, and around four and a half inches wide. Finished with Danish oil. The finial is aluminum.

I like. I would probably like to see the top of the finial a little thinner, but thats just me.

I would too but the old lathe vibrated so much that when I got as thin as I wanted, the aluminum would work harden and break.
