I think cedar is a much overlooked wood for turning. I've built boats out of it and used it to make trophies and such. You've done well. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Robert. I love cedar too, as long as I remember
to sand in at a very low speed. Can you say heat buid-up and
"crack"? Your right about the finial, a bit chubby.
