Eucalyptus coin pot

I was told by the guy that gave me the wood that it was curly maple. However, when i started to work on it and all of the wax was removed, the eucalyptus smell came through. It now has a nice peppery vicks smell. It is 6" X6" and finished with 2 coats of catalyzed lacquer. Inside h dyed dark red.
