Canarian pine, Teak and Pepper wood

Description}: The top is Canarian pine ( full of resin, no need to apply a finish ) middle is Pepper wood and the bottom is Teak( I think ) finished with BLO and Canuba wax. Hollowed out. 5 1/2" tall

Description}: A little pepper wood ( as usual ) ring bowl, finished with canuba wax. The only wood that I can get that has a decent grain pattern, so have to use it a lot.

Description}: Measuring just over 5" tall by 7" wide, finished with boiled linseed oil and buffed. This may not be pepper wood, any ideas ??????

Description}: This is,as always, Pepperwood, I know that it is only 1/2" longer to one side, but that's oval to me, I hope that is ok. I put two on the challenge page that were wider, but not as good. This one isn't perfect, but the best I can do. I have never tried this before, so enjoyed the challenge greatly. I made it a ring bowl, don't know why !

Description}: 5" Tall,1 1/2" wide bowl x 1/20" thick wall, the stem is 1/5" wide, made with pepperwood, had a lot of sweating making the bowl on this one, I usually make them a lot thicker.

Description}: 8" wide,3" tall with a bowl of 1/10" thickness made from Acacia, finished with BeesWax. Just reminds me of a view from a Bay close to my house.

Description}: Pine accentric Goblet, finished with CA/super Glue.1 8/10" high, 7/8" wide and the bowl is 1/20". I didn't even break one, this was my first attempt, I am amazed and probably won't be able to do it again, challenged me, that's for sure.

Description}: Due to the cork like centre of this tree, I thought that I would use the inside natural edge ( strange but true ) as the cut outs for the ciggy/cigar to lay in. The whitish bits are fading now, I do not know what it is. About 8" wide and the grooves are deaper than they look on the pic.

Description}: The center/centre of this tree was like a soft cork, so I decided to make a double sided candle hlder out of it, one side natural and the other ( next pic. along ) using the vinegar, steel wool etc. method.

Description}: This was a badly damaged home made solid lamp, thus the non match of rain,the crack is full of bark so I decided to leave it like this, all the way through to the inside. Finished with DO.

Description}: This is a thick bowl by any standards. The hole goes through to the bottom centre. Again this is a yellow wood with lovely swirls of brown and black in it, any ideas what wood it is ....????

Description}: I thought I would see how it looked if I drilled a hole in the Pine , made a dowel to fit inside it of Willow and turn a little Gobblet. Only 4" tall but it's a tester. Hope you like it.
