Description}: Started to turn this from some spalted mystery blanks. One of them exploded into dust, so I decided to complete it using a darker, contrasting wood to see what it would look like. I'm still undecided.

First Pen - Brazilian Cherry

Description}: This is my first attempt at turning a pen on my new lathe. It's turned from a Brazilian Cherry blank supplied by Kathy Marshall, along with the kit. The blank was already drilled with the tubes glued in, which was awesome! Thank you Kathy! I had a ton of fun turning it. This is definitely the first of MANY.

Secret Santa Ornament

Description}: The hollow part is made from Yellow Cedar, Red Oak, Cherry, and Hickory. The Christmas Tree inside, and the finial are made from one piece of Ebony. Finished with some beeswax and mineral oil, and a light buff.

NE Maple Burl Tea-Light
