Description}: Here are some whistles I just finished. In the latest issue of Woodturning Design there was an article about making them. I thought it would be fun to make some. It was. My wife wants to kill me now ever time she hears one. In Order from Left to Right. Corian, Maple/Mahogany, Walnut, Leopard Wood, Maple/Walnut/Mahogany, Walnut, Ash and Leopard Wood.

Scrap Wood Bud Vase

Description}: This is made from whatever was lying around the shop. Walnut, Mahogany, Maple, W. Oak and multi ply Birch. The vase was sealed with shellac and buffed and waxed with the DP buffing system. You can't tell from the pic but there is a removable glass test tube insert.

1st Christmas Ornament

Description}: This not only is my first ornament. It also is the first piece I every hollowed. The bulb is Spanish Ceder and the top and finial are Wenge. The bulb is a fluent 1/8" thick. I hollowed this with tools that I made, following Ron's and Kathy's influence.

Bangle Bracelet

Description}: This bracelet is segmented with Mahogany, Ebony, Bubinga, White Maple, Wenge and tropical olive. It is a med size with an inside diameter of 2 5/8. The bracelet was sanded to 600# then buffed with the Don Pencil buffing system.
