My step mother graduated from Ohio State, so I couldn't think of a better gift (OSU is the Buckeyes, and one of their colors is red) The dye is a little darker in the middle than the outside of the blank, but I am so loving the burl<br /><br />5 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8485&title=redbuckeyeburlforweb&cat=633 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8485&title=redbuckeyeburlforweb&cat=633 Tue, 26 Jan 2010 01:15:24 +0000 BlueLapisClickerforweb <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8484&amp;title=bluelapisclickerforweb&amp;cat=633"><img class="imgborder" title="BlueLapisClickerforweb.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/633/thumbs/BlueLapisClickerforweb.jpg" alt="BlueLapisClickerforweb.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: ergeist<br /><br />Description}: Blue Lapis Clicker. Forgot the clip, but didnt want to mess up the pen to disassemble it. Not a big fan of the fit of woodcrafts clickers, but the mechanism is better than penn states clickers. I got a new camera, and am still playing with getting better pictures. Next will be a tripod and photo tent http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8484&title=bluelapisclickerforweb&cat=633 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8484&title=bluelapisclickerforweb&cat=633 Tue, 26 Jan 2010 01:13:00 +0000 Another view of the ambrosia maple pen <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8283&amp;title=another-view-of-the-ambrosia-maple-pen&amp;cat=633"><img class="imgborder" title="ambrosiamaplepen2_1.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/633/thumbs/ambrosiamaplepen2_1.jpg" alt="ambrosiamaplepen2_1.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: ergeist<br /><br />5 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8283&title=another-view-of-the-ambrosia-maple-pen&cat=633 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8283&title=another-view-of-the-ambrosia-maple-pen&cat=633 Sun, 22 Nov 2009 22:17:59 +0000 Ambrosia maple pen with pool cue cap <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8282&amp;title=ambrosia-maple-pen-with-pool-cue-cap&amp;cat=633"><img class="imgborder" title="Ambrosiamaplepen1_1.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/633/thumbs/Ambrosiamaplepen1_1.jpg" alt="Ambrosiamaplepen1_1.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: ergeist<br /><br />2 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8282&title=ambrosia-maple-pen-with-pool-cue-cap&cat=633 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8282&title=ambrosia-maple-pen-with-pool-cue-cap&cat=633 Sun, 22 Nov 2009 22:17:12 +0000 Pens for the Troops <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8012&amp;title=pens-for-the-troops&amp;cat=633"><img class="imgborder" title="turnfortroopsSept09forweb.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/633/thumbs/turnfortroopsSept09forweb.jpg" alt="turnfortroopsSept09forweb.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: ergeist<br /><br />Description}: These are being sent to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Left to right- Maple, Purpleheart, and Cherry. I wish you could see the tiny birdseyes in the maple- very cool. Hopefully the purpleheart will go to a purple heart recipient, and not serve as an omen to someone who hasnt yet recieved one. I played around with different ways of adding BLO before Qualasole and ren wax. The one on the far right I am most proud of- thats the one my 12 yr old daughter did<br /><br />3 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8012&title=pens-for-the-troops&cat=633 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=8012&title=pens-for-the-troops&cat=633 Wed, 02 Sep 2009 02:47:13 +0000 Budvase <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=7681&amp;title=budvase&amp;cat=633"><img class="imgborder" title="Budvase2.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/633/thumbs/Budvase2.jpg" alt="Budvase2.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: ergeist<br /><br />Description}: another view http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=7681&title=budvase&cat=633 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=7681&title=budvase&cat=633 Tue, 19 May 2009 02:59:12 +0000 Budvase <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=7680&amp;title=budvase&amp;cat=633"><img class="imgborder" title="Budvase1.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/633/thumbs/Budvase1.jpg" alt="Budvase1.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: ergeist<br /><br />Description}: Aromatic Cedar, sanded to 600, and finished with Qualasole Padding Finish.
