Finish is sanding sealer with carnauba wax (applied with the Beal 3-On buffing system). I choose a simple form for my first "lidded-box", thinking that the inlay in the lid and the use of the collar would add interest to an otherwise simple piece. The vertical red striations help to align the grain. Hope you guys like.

8 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=7664&title=kitchen-box&cat=632 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=7664&title=kitchen-box&cat=632 Sun, 17 May 2009 13:27:11 +0000 Kitchen Box - open

by: cstrunk

Description}: Canary wood and Lacewood inlays: 5.10"x2.67" Finished with sanding sealer and carnauba wax (on a Beal 3-On buffing system).
