Description}: I had a great time working on this project. Turning each of the spindles took much longer than I had expected. All made from Oak with an oil finish. Let me know what you think.

Description}: Here is my first attempt at segmented turning. Made from Cherry and Walnut. Approx 2 1/2 tall by 2 1/4 wide and deep. I decided I would use it as a toothpick holder as it is an appropriate size and I seem to make a lot of toothpicks!! :) :)

Description}: I haven't done much turning this winter (no heat in the shop) but it has warmed up a little so here are some of my latest pens I have made. From left to right they are Cocobolo, Cherry (with stain that is almost like a red mohagany, can't remember actual name), Purple Heart, and Blue/Green Acrylic. Enjoy!

Description}: Here is my goblet for the C&T. From top to bottom woods are Walnut, Butternut, Walnut, Maple, and Walnut. Dim's are 6" x 2 13/16". This was a fun project and I learned a lot just by trial and error with it. Glyn, I hope you enjoy it.

Poplar Ring Box

Description}: A while ago my wife saw a ring box in a book I was reading on Woodturning and she said that she wanted one, so last weekend I used a branch of Poplar that her dad had given me and made this little box. The inside of the box is just large enough for a quarter to fit inside (just to give idea of size). Her wedding ring fits great inside it and she loves it. The small finial on top is African Ebony.

Ipe Ornament

Description}: I bought a box of pen blanks for E-bay and as far as I understand this wood is Ipe. It does however look a lot like walnut. If anyone can correct or confirm me on this please let me know. Any other comments are also welcome.
