Ipe Ornament

Description}: I bought a box of pen blanks for E-bay and as far as I understand this wood is Ipe. It does however look a lot like walnut. If anyone can correct or confirm me on this please let me know. Any other comments are also welcome.

Description}: Inside out ornament made from hickory. The blanks were not completely square so the did not glue up perfectly. LOML likes it though so I can't say much.

Description}: I make this ornament last weekend out of four Hickory pen blanks. Friction finish. Let me know what you think.

Inside Out Ornaments

Description}: These two were my first attempt at Inside-Out turning. The ornaments are made from Basswood and the incerts are Kingwood and (I believe)Burmese Rosewood.
