There was a nice looking mini-burl (again, sry for the bad photo) that allowed me to keep a bit of the egg natural and also allowed for unconventional curves. Has beautiful markings that don't show well on pic. (My camera abilities are less than my turning skills) My husband won't let me polish it because he likes the smell, so I told him to put it in his sock drawer!

2 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=2809&title=sock-drawer&cat=500 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=2809&title=sock-drawer&cat=500 Tue, 04 Jul 2006 22:13:44 +0000 Primitive Weed Pot

by: zugunru

Description}: ~5" tall from rootball left by dead shrub in my yard. My first attempt at a vase figure ended up being a primitive little thingy that can hold maybe a single dandelion.
