Description}: This is the bowl I asked for advice on to keep the cove on the side. Well I reduced the cove by 1/2 & added a smaller one at the top to make it look more balanced. It's 9" x 2-1/2" finish is WOP

Description}: Well LOML wanted two Martini glasses for one of her co-workers. I made these two the one on the right the base is a tad small. Glass on right is made from Mahogany the one on the left is from Mesquite.

Description}: This is a plate that I made for my niece. She drew me a pic of a horse's head I was so impressed with her talent I made her a plate & had the pic laser engraved on it. It's Maple wood with three coats of BLO to deepen the color a tad.

Description}: This is a gift for this coming Christmas. I turned a platter out of cherry & it is 15-1/2" diameter finish is BLO & I'm going to have my three nieces pics laser engraved on it.

Description}: This is the plate I made for my niece. I didn't know how good of a artist she was & when she sent me the pic of the horse I just had to turn her a plate & have her pic laser engraved on it. The plate is cherry wood & is 10" diameter & the finish is BLO.

Description}: Well this is the the plate that I made for my niece. She drew me a nice pic & to say thank you I made this plate & had the pic she drew laser engraved in it for her. It's made from Maple & just 3 coats of BLO to deepen the color a tad. Not bad for $20 for engraving.

Description}: Well, This bowl was my first using the SN2 & I forgot that it needed a dovetail tenon/recess. The tenon broke off & I turned it into a missile. Embarrassed after having to re-chuck it between centers & not running true this prompted a "design modification" hence the present shape. I made a cove in the rim it's not flat & undercut it also. I like the shape How about you guys & gals?

Description}: Well after the last one blew up I found a nice piece of cedar & made another one. This one wanted to have a gentle curve in the middle. It is 6-1/2" tall x 3" at the top & 4-1/2" at the bottom. Finish is 6 coats of minwax poly. Once it cures I'll buff it out nicely. Thanks to Bill B for his help with the poly.

Description}: These are 2 of the ring bowls I did for family. They are Bubinga with Gabon ebony fingers. about 5" across & 1-3/4" tall. Finish is 5 coats of gloss poly.

Description}: Well this is my Dads belated B Day gift. This is my first regular bowl I ever turned. Dimensions are 6" across by 2" tall it's made out of Birdseye maple I originally was making it out of red heart but the over hang from the tool rest to the bottom was a tad to much & It committed suicide. Rolling Eyes Laughing Tell me honestly what you think. The second bowl is a ring bowl for one of my customers it's made out of Bubinga & the finial is madagascar ebony. Chuck

Description}: From the excellent advise here. this is my donut chuck. I still have to add screws for added safety. This came out a lot better since I added the wood putty to the bottom of the nut before adding gorilla glue. Chuck
