Description}: This a shallow bowl measuring 220mm diameter and 40mm deep. My first attempt with this wood. The grain has a distinct holographic appearance that changes with the light. It machines like any other Mahogany type wood.

Description}: Cup is 80mm diameter and finished in melamine lacquer with chestnut .22 wax on top.

Goblet 2 with coaster

Description}: Coaster is Beech, Iroko and Maple from the outside. Goblet is rough english oak with a micro wax only finish.

Description}: This oak piece was made from a piece of firewood that would have kept us warm next winter. Oh well.......... Came out well considering limited experience. I need to research finishing techniques though.
