It sat around outside all that time, so I finally decided to see what I could do with it. It had many radial cracks, some quite deep, so I decided to make the cracks the features of the piece. I used a lot of CA glue to try to avoid explosions. The first attempt ended in disaster when I got a catch internally and the form disappeared. If I can find most of the pieces I will post a picture in the OOPS section. This piece is 4.5&quot; around and 5&quot; tall.<br /><br />3 comments http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4054&title=red-cedar-hollow-form&cat=500 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4054&title=red-cedar-hollow-form&cat=500 Tue, 30 Jan 2007 21:34:45 +0000 Cherry Bowl - Natural Edge <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4053&amp;title=cherry-bowl-natural-edge&amp;cat=500"><img class="imgborder" title="0030_5_in_NE_Cherry_Bowl.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/500/thumbs/0030_5_in_NE_Cherry_Bowl.jpg" alt="0030_5_in_NE_Cherry_Bowl.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: TriggerLegs<br /><br />Description}: This 5&quot; bowl came from a backyard tree. http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4053&title=cherry-bowl-natural-edge&cat=500 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4053&title=cherry-bowl-natural-edge&cat=500 Tue, 30 Jan 2007 21:29:23 +0000 White Birch Bowl - Natural Edge <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4052&amp;title=white-birch-bowl-natural-edge&amp;cat=500"><img class="imgborder" title="0029_6_in_Birch_NE_Bowl.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/500/thumbs/0029_6_in_Birch_NE_Bowl.jpg" alt="0029_6_in_Birch_NE_Bowl.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: TriggerLegs<br /><br />Description}: This 6&quot; bowl was from a backyard tree. http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4052&title=white-birch-bowl-natural-edge&cat=500 http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4052&title=white-birch-bowl-natural-edge&cat=500 Tue, 30 Jan 2007 21:27:49 +0000 Cherry Goblets - Natural edge <a href="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/showphoto.php?photo=4051&amp;title=cherry-goblets-natural-edge&amp;cat=500"><img class="imgborder" title="0028-Cherry_NE_Goblets.jpg" border="0" src="http://www.woodturnersresource.com/wrphotopost/data/500/thumbs/0028-Cherry_NE_Goblets.jpg" alt="0028-Cherry_NE_Goblets.jpg" /></a><br /><br />by: TriggerLegs<br /><br />Description}: This pair of 3&quot; diameter goblets came out of the log side by side.
